Our olive oil is certified organic, which means that our olives are grown without the use of any pesticides whatsoever. CERTIFIED ORGANIC.
With an oleic acid content of just 0.26 percent, our olive oil is truly extra virgin, far below the 0.80 percent cutoff required for the extra virgin classification. Additionally, the peroxide level is 7.8 milliequivalents per kilogram, well within the 20.0 cutoff for extra virgin olive oil. TRULY EXTRA VIRGIN.
Our olives are grown and harvested in small batches by family farmers in the Messinia region of southern Greece, near Kalamata. GROWN BY SMALL SCALE FAMILY FARMERS.
Made from 100 percent Koroneiki olives, our oil is known for its high biophenol levels and distinctive ripe olive fruit flavor. MADE FROM KORONEIKI OLIVES.
