In the 1890s, our family settled near Ancient Olympia, Greece, where we became wine, current, and olive oil producers. Through PJ KABOS, we are now able to share our products with health-conscious consumers worldwide who seek a pure, nourishing way of eating.

Our family groves are located in the western Peloponnese region of Greece, very close to the site of Ancient Olympia. Olive trees have thrived in this mythical area since ancient days, and EVOO has always been a protagonist in everyday life. We harvest the olives in October/November when the fruits are still yellowish/green, which gives a very low but high-quality yield of around 10%. This helps us achieve our desired very high antioxidant levels and delicious, medium intensity taste.
Our 100% Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil is extracted shortly after the fruit is cut from the tree, using only centrifugal force, with no chemicals or heat added. The result is a premium, Kosher, Vegan, and Vegetarian product that is Non-GMO, BPA-free, and free from harmful farming residues.
Tasting characteristics include aromas of cut grass, artichoke, basil, and notes of tomato stem. The taste exhibits abundant fruitiness, medium bitterness and pungency, with notes of arugula, flowers, mint, and green almond. This medium-intensity EVOO has a high persistence and complexity, making it perfect for salads, dressings, dipping, marinades, as well as for frying, baking, roasting, sautéing, and stir-frying.
Packed with over 400 mg/kg of polyphenols using the International Olive Council's HPLC testing method, our EVOO is an incredible source of monounsaturated fatty acids, oleocanthal, hydroxytyrosol, and antioxidants. It helps reduce "bad" (LDL) cholesterol and the risk of heart disease, supporting your overall health.

Our production process is committed to supporting ancient hand harvesting techniques and maintaining traditional planting methods, without the use of heavy machinery.
